JAH Prayzah’s management team have said they are excited about their project ‘Nhoroondo’ and it was always their mission to release its full story.
The superstar musician released a visual novel ‘Nhoroondo: The Book’ on Monday.
It is the continuation of ‘Nhoroondo: A Four-Part Story’ which was taken from his album ‘Gwara’.
The narrative traces the unpredictable path of life, filled with love, struggle, success, tragedy and the cruelty of fate.
The story revolves around four songs which are ‘Nyeredzi,’ ‘Chimwe neChimwe,’ ‘Ndichiyamwa,’ and ‘Nherera.’
In an interview with H-Metro, Jah Prayzah’s manager Keen Mushapaidze said:
“When we released ‘Nhoroondo’ it was always our vision to release the whole story. From the shooting, we wanted things to work in harmony and we had many videos in store.
“The response and feedback from fans has been amazing, people are appreciating Jah Prayzah’s writing skills.”
Fans have been praising Jah Prayzah’s ability to explore the emotional abuse in most African homes. The book first introduces a man who is captivated by a beautiful woman and, in this poetic moment, the spark of love is ignited.
The singer goes on to reflect on how fortunes change, sometimes for better, sometimes for worse. The couple, after getting married, struggle with infertility, a challenge faced in many African homes.
