Nicki Minaj visits August Alsina in Hospital

While recovering from multiple seizures, August Alsina received an outpouring of support from his friends including Chris Brown and 2 Chainz. On Monday, he got a hospital visit from Nicki Minaj, who stopped by to check in on her “No Love” collaborator.
“August, u know, I’m here to save u. still praying for my lil bro. He’s doing better,” tweeted Nicki, who snapped a selfie with her friend.
August posted another photo of the two of them, writing, “She has to be the sweetest girl I know. #ASisterThatPrays.”

Wale and Kevin Hart also taped video messages for their pal. “I don’t like seeing you down like this,” said Hart.
“I know the shit got rough for you for a minute, but everything’s a wake-up call, baby. Get bigger, get stronger.”

The New Orleans crooner has been in the hospital after collapsing on stage during his New York City concert on September 15. He reportedly suffered multiple seizures and was in a coma for three days.

August thanked his friends and fans for their well wishes. “Recovery, it’s a process. I woke from a coma,” he said.
“God gave me a second chance at life & I’d like to thank each and every person that sent any form and expression of love thru gift, card, flowers or simply your kind words and prayers. I’m a hustler, I’m a worker, I overwork myself at times but I’m a survivor and still here by the grace of God and your prayers.” — Rap UP.
