COMEDIAN Nigel the Slick Pastor is set to bring his brand of comedy to the stage when he headlines a comedy night at this year’s Shoko Festival Unmuted in Harare on September 24.
The comedian is expected to be among the performers at the festival, which celebrates urban culture and creative expression.
Nigel announced his appearance in a message to comedy lovers.
The show is scheduled to start from 6pm at Harare Gardens, with Nigel expected to use the platform to showcase his comedic talent to an audience drawn from different sections of the capital’s entertainment scene.
“I’m going to make you laugh until you cry,” he said.
His appearance comes as Shoko Festival continues to provide a platform for Zimbabwean creatives, particularly those working in urban culture, music, comedy, spoken word and other contemporary art forms.
