NIGERIAN praise and worship stalwarts — Sumnisola Agbedi and Ebuka Songs — will be arriving in batches ahead of their performances set for the UFIC Basilica Arena in Chitungwiza on August 9.
Sumnisola is scheduled to touch down at Robert Gabriel Mugabe International Airport tomorrow at 2.30pm, arriving directly from Nigeria.
Her counterpart, Ebuka Songs — real name Ebuka Emmanuel Hillary — will arrive in Harare tomorrow from Canada, just a day before their performance.
Dubbed “Relentless Worship 2025: A Day of Powerful Praise, Worship and Unforgettable Family Celebration,” this event is a must-attend for new converts and anyone seeking to restore their relationship with God.
The visitors will share the stage with an impressive line-up of performers, including Minister Michael Mahendere, Psalmist Hubert Chigumira, Carol Nyakuba, Tapiwa Masara, Larry Gunda, the UFIC Choir and many more.
After all the anticipation, fans have been eagerly waiting for their arrival for a day of relentless worship through song and prayer.
In a statement, Pastor Prime Kufa, a spokesperson for the Relentless Worship initiative, expressed his pro-found enthusiasm ahead of this year’s edition.
“The arrival of Sumnisola, Ebuka Songs, and their teams marks a significant milestone in our commitment to fostering unity through gospel music. Their collaboration with our esteemed local artistes embodies the transcendent nature of worship that knows no borders.
“Relentless Worship 2025 is envisioned as a sacred encounter designed to ignite revival and transform lives,” he shared.
Pastor Kufa noted that local acts have been given yet another opportunity to exchange notes with their Nigerian counterparts as they unite in prayer.
“The event, set for Saturday, August 9, 2025, at the UFIC Basilica in Chitungwiza, will run from midday to 7:00 PM. This gathering represents a powerful collaboration between leading gospel talents from Nigeria and Zimbabwe, promising an unparalleled worship experience characterised by spiritual favour and musical excellence.”
Judging by the line-up, gospel lovers are in for a real treat, as the event promises a rare occasion of relentless worship.
Topping the bill is Sunmisola, who needs no introduction across the continent.
Blessed with a wondrous voice that joyously cries to the clouds, she has conquered the world with her spiritually uplifting single titled “My Daddy, My Daddy.”
On stage, Sunmisola’s energy and engagement with fans have made her a cut above the rest. As for Ebuka Songs, he is popular for huge hits like “I Will Pray”.
Coming from Canada on an international tour, the Nigerian star is undoubtedly one of the continent’s finest when it comes to praise and worship.
On the local front, all eyes will be on Minister Michael Mahendere, whose popularity continues to rise each day.
