JOHANNESBURG — Kaizer Chiefs Zimbabwean striker Kingston Nkhatha will join the Pretoria based outfit SuperSport United on July 1, 2015.
SuperSport United popularly known as Matsatsantsa confirmed the development in a statement on Friday night that Nkhatha has signed a pre-contract with the club. In a statement Koketo Gaofetoge, the SuperSport United spokesperson said, “SuperSport United have signed Zimbabwean striker, Kingston Nkhatha on a pre-contract. Nkhatha, whose current contract with Kaizer Chiefs expires on 30 June 2015 will join Matsatsantsa from 1 July 2015 to bolster the attack with the likes of Bradley Grobler, Dove Wome and Thuso Phala.”

Nkatha, 29 has been the target of boo by the Kaizer Chiefs supporters who have accused him for firing blanks.  Kaizer Chiefs head coach, Stuart Baxter, has defended the striker saying supporters do not understand his role which is among other things to harass defence with his physique thus giving a chance for other strikers to score. Efforts to get a comment from Nkhatha were unsuccessful.

The striker joined Free State Stars in 2007 before moving to Black Leopards and then Kaizer Chiefs.
