No replacement for R Mashesha, DJ Tira says

BIG Nuz fans will have to get used to the fact that the group is now made up of two members.

Sibusiso “R Mashesha” Khomo, 34, who was buried on Saturday in Umlazi, KZN after battling a throat related illness, has left a huge gap.

Afrotainment boss DJ Tira made it clear that they would not be replacing the late star.

“It’s going to be hard to adopt a new child in the Big Nuz family. It was amazing watching these three kids growing up together.

“It’s sad that one of them died while we were still expecting a lot from him,” DJ Tira said.

“However, the group will have to continue. They’re grown up now and a new child won’t grow so fast to reach their standard.”

Tira said it was a great honour to work with R Mashesha.

“He loved his work and was a highly motivated young man. We were really privileged to have him,” said Tira.

The group’s remaining two members, Mampintsha and Danger concurred with Tira.

“We’ve lost a true brother but we’ll surely hold the group’s flag high. I just hope his spirit will remain with us and help us achieve more,” said Danger.

Mampintsha assured fans that the multi-award winning group, which released their new album – For The Fans – two weeks ago, would continue delivering hits.

“Please continue supporting us. We love you and promise not to let you down. No one will ever replace R Mashesha though,” Mampintsha said. – DailySun.
