THE Zimbabwean professional golfers’ duo of Scott and Kieran Vincent will hardly take a break after they took part in last week’s LIV Golf Mayakoba at El Camaleon in Mexico.
Vincent brothers will take their golf bags to the United States in Miami where they will take part in the LIV Golf Las Vergas at Las Vergas Country Club starting tomorrow until Sunday.
The duo finished last week’s tournament in Mexico tied on three-over-par overall and will be expected to improve in this week’s tournament.
It was Kieran, who had a debut to remember in the LIV Golf as his team Legion XIII won the team trophy in their first attempt.
It took just one tournament and three rounds for Kieran’s team Legion XIII to win a team trophy. It’s a fast track to the podium that no doubt makes teams like Cleeks GC, HyFlyers GC, Iron Heads GC, and Majesticks GC a bit envious — those four remain as the only LIV teams not to win at least one tournament.
The stars will certainly be out in Vegas with Super Bowl LVIII in town featuring the Kansas City Chiefs and San Francisco 49ers. Las Vegas Country Club is the host course this week and is not far from the famous Las Vegas Strip. The course was opened in 1967 and has hosted events on the PGA and LPGA tours in the past.
For a course in the middle of the desert, Las Vegas CC does feature a fair amount of trees that line relatively narrow fairways. It is also extremely well bunkered in the landing areas.
