‘No typhoid in Harare’

The Ministry of Health and Child Care yesterday said there were no confirmed cases of typhoid in Harare.

In a statement, the ministry said the cases reported yesterday were only “suspected” cases which were reported as “confirmed cases”.

It said the nation must not panic. “The Ministry of Health and Child Care does not have any confirmed cases of typhoid in the period in question,” it said.
