Excitement is building for Zimbabwe’s premier music showcase, the Jacaranda Music Festival (JMF), following the announcement of its third wave of performers for the 2025 edition. Set against the scenic Thornpark Polo Club in Harare, the festival will run from October 3 to 5.

Organised by Walter Wanyanya’s influential arts and culture hub, Ngoma Nehosho, the JMF has cemented its reputation as a flagship event on the country’s entertainment calendar.

This announcement spotlights local talent, with artistes from Bulawayo in the spotlight. Soulful singer Noluntu J, versatile performer Msiz’kay, and dynamic Kyla Blac will represent the city among the 10 newly revealed acts.

The third wave of performers adds more firepower to an already stellar line-up, which also features Masa Caroleen, Melyssa, Lamiez Holworthy, Boohle, DJ Tira, Hlokoza, Nesty, and DJ Sox. These additions complement previously announced headliners, including South African heavyweights Vusi Nova, Made Her Believe, Spunj, Murumba Pitch, Mafikizolo, and the harmonious The Soil.

Festival-goers can also expect high-energy performances from Ace Frvr, Kamo Mphela, and Monster DJ, alongside Zimbabwean favourites such as Agga Nyabinde, ExQ, pioneering producer Oskido, acclaimed band Jazzworx, instrumentalist Chucknosis, Zimdancehall sensation Enzo Ishall, rising talent Thukuthela, soulful vocalist Jinger Stone, and the vibrant Diamond Musica. Adding an international flair is the Spanish collective Candeleros.

Staying true to its ethos, JMF 2025 will showcase a rich mix of Afro-beats, Amapiano, pop, indie, EDM, and innovative genre blends, ensuring there is something for every music fan. – Follow on X @MbuleloMpofu
