THE City of Bulawayo will this afternoon present its 2027 budget, outlining its proposed expenditure and revenue plans for the coming year.
The budget presentation is scheduled for 2.30pm at the Council Chambers, City Hall, during a special council meeting.
The announcement will provide residents and other stakeholders with an opportunity to examine the local authority’s financial plans and the proposed charges for municipal services in 2027.
In a meeting notice, the local authority said: “The City of Bulawayo will be having a Special Council Meeting for the 2027 Budget Announcement on Thursday, 5 November 2026 at 14:30 hours. The announcement will be held at the Council Chamber, City Hall Municipal Building.”
The budget is expected to outline the council’s priorities for service delivery and infrastructure development in the coming year.
