GERMANY-BASED Zimbabwean songstress Nomina is turning up the volume on the African music scene—teaming up with South Africa’s vocal powerhouse Nokwazi and club scene maestro DJ SK on two sizzling new singles ahead of her much-anticipated EP “Angel”, set to drop this September in Gaborone, Botswana.

Her first drop, “Destiny”, released in March, rides an infectious Amapiano wave and features the unmistakable vocals of Nokwazi. It’s a soul-stirring anthem about patience, perseverance, and the moment when hard work finally pays off.
“It’s about believing what’s meant for you will come, no matter how long it takes,” said Nomina.

Then came “Ebusuku” (meaning “at night”), released on April 11 and produced by DJ SK. This one dives deep—into spiritual warfare, emotional storms, and the silent battles fought behind closed doors.
“Some people bring disturbance instead of peace,” said Nomina. “This track is about standing firm in your truth and resisting toxic energy.”

With her signature Afro-pop fusion style and a growing list of international collabs, Nomina is boldly blending Zimbabwean roots with Southern African sounds and global beats. And she’s just getting started.
“I’ll be dropping more tracks with visuals leading up to the launch. It’s going to be a celebration of African music and culture,” she teased.

From Bulawayo to Berlin, Johannesburg to Gaborone, Nomina’s star is rising fast—don’t blink, or you’ll miss it!
