Nomzamo Mbatha returns as the face of Levi’s curvy range

South African actress and humanitarian Nomzamo Mbatha is once again partnering with Levi’s, returning as the face of their popular Curvy range − a line designed to celebrate and empower women of all shapes and sizes.

At 35, Nomzamo has already built an impressive career as an actress, model, and global brand ambassador. Now, she’s extending her relationship with the iconic denim brand, a journey that began years ago when she was still a university student.

“I began as a Levi’s brand promoter during my university days. Today, as the returning face of the Levi’s Curvy campaign, I’m embodying a full-circle moment,” she shared with pride.

Nomzamo first partnered with Levi’s in 2019, helping promote their Curvy edition, which highlights body positivity and encourages women to embrace their natural forms. Her involvement goes beyond modelling — it reflects her personal values of self-love and inclusion.

To mark the return of the Levi’s Curvy campaign, Nomzamo and Levi’s hosted a special brunch, followed by a celebration at the Levi’s store at Cape Town’s V&A Waterfront, where the store had its relaunch. The event brought together some of the most dynamic and inspiring women from across the country.

“What an incredible series of events to officially launch the 501 Curve in South Africa. Surrounded by some of the coolest, most authentic, and most dynamic people,” she said, clearly excited by the campaign’s success.

This campaign holds deep personal meaning for Nomzamo. It reflects both her personal growth and her mission to uplift others. As South Africa celebrates Women’s Month, she is encouraging women to love themselves as they are.

“This makes sense for our women who want to celebrate their curves,” she said.

The star of Shaka Ilembe believes the Levi’s 501 Curvy jeans are more than just fashion — they are a statement.

“These iconic jeans redefine style by honouring the shape of all women, blending classic design with a modern embrace of our bodies,” she explained.

This renewed partnership not only strengthens her connection with Levi’s but adds another powerful chapter to her impressive list of brand collaborations − always rooted in confidence, authenticity, and representation − OK.
