Norton Town Council to host soccer tournament as part of Christmas charity fundraising

The Norton Town Council has organised a soccer tournament slated for Saturday as part of the chairman’s Christmas Charity Fundraising.

Norton chairperson, Councillor Action Mataruse, appealed to well-wishers to assist the less privileged in the town.

“We have orphans, widows, the less privileged. I appeal to those who can assist to come together to assist orphans, widows and the disabled,” he said.

Cllr Mataruse said they were going to distribute Christmas hampers to the less privileged on December 20.

“So let’s unite as children of Norton,” he said.
