National Prosecuting Authority of Zimbabwe (NPAZ) has bade farewell to Mr Thokozana Manata, a devoted officer who served the organisation for 19 years.
Mr Manata, who was on secondment from the Zimbabwe Republic Police, worked tirelessly in various capacities, such as public prosecutor in the regional court, set down officer and registry clerk in the Bulawayo High Court Prosecutors’ office.Acting deputy prosecutor-general Mrs Rosa Takuva described Mr Manata as a public servant with an exceptional work ethic and an in-depth knowledge of dockets.

“Mr Manata is also a handyman and is the go-to person for help with ICT and electrical gadgets, which made him an invaluable asset to the NPAZ team,” she said.

She also said that Mr Manata’s dedication and commitment to justice have been exemplary and the NPAZ will be poorer without him.

To honour his service, Mrs Takuva handed over a cordless drill set, acknowledging Mr Manata’s newfound passion for carpentry.

“The NPAZ appreciates Mr Manata’s tireless efforts and wishes him God’s blessings in his future pursuits,” she said.
