Ntando celebrates role as Queen Bhibhi in Shaka iLembe Season 2

Actress and media personality Ntando Duma has returned to our screens in the much-anticipated second season of Shaka iLembe, and she’s once again bringing fire and flair to her character, Queen Bhibhi ka Sompisi.

Queen Bhibhi, first introduced in Season 1 Episode 6, is the ninth wife of King Senzangakhona. Known for her bold attitude and manipulative ways, Bhibhi quickly became one of the show’s most talked-about characters.

Her fiery nature and determination made her a key antagonist in the royal household, especially for Queen Nandi, Shaka’s mother. Bhibhi’s actions played a major role in driving Queen Nandi and young Shaka out of the palace—a pivotal moment in the show’s storyline.

In Season 2, Ntando Duma steps back into Bhibhi’s shoes with even more confidence and power. The new season picks up with major changes in the royal court following King Senzangakhona’s departure, and Bhibhi continues to stir drama with her unshakable attitude and sharp tongue.

Taking to social media, Ntando shared her deep love and connection to the character, writing: “Bhibhi, my darling. Senzangakhona’s departure has changed everything, and you still think this attitude is gonna save you? Oh but I love your feistiness and spirit my Queen – giving in easily isn’t your style, I love that for you.

Thanks everyone for embracing, loving/hating this character, I’m so grateful to have played her. Shaka iLembe Season 2 is back!”

Her post struck a chord with fans who have come to both admire and despise the character—a testament to Ntando’s powerful performance. She described Bhibhi as “feisty,” unapologetically bold, and not one to back down, no matter the challenge. It’s exactly this edge that makes the character unforgettable.

Ntando Duma’s portrayal of Queen Bhibhi continues to be one of the standout elements in Shaka iLembe, bringing complexity, tension, and energy to every scene she’s in. With Season 2 now airing, viewers can expect even more royal chaos, emotional twists, and, of course, more of Bhibhi’s legendary attitude.

One thing is clear: Bhibhi isn’t going down without a fight—and Ntando Duma is loving every second of it. — OK.
