Mankunzini was accused of allegedly misrepresenting himself as a business development manager with Zimbabwe

Cricket and claiming to be recruiting medical personnel for the national cricket team’s tour of Europe.
It was alleged that between October 2024 and September 2025, Mankunzini persuaded the complainant, who is a sister-in-charge at Mpilo Central Hospital, to make a series of payments through a CABS bank account belonging to Cricket Ekhaya Ekasi.

The money was reportedly meant to cover a supposed cricket course, uniforms, visa applications, aviation fees and flight tickets.
