Nust and OXPECKERS collaborate to conduct media training on environmental and data journalism

THE National University of Science and Technology’s (Nust) Department of Journalism and Media Studies in conjunction with OXPECKERS is conducting a media training programme for journalists on environmental and data journalism.

OXPECKERS is a South African-based environmental investigative journalism organisation, tracking mainly environmental crimes.

The programme has brought together journalists from across the country and academics in journalism and media studies.

It is running under the theme “the nexus of environmental and data journalism.”
