LONDON. – Ethan Nwaneri is being tracked by RB Leipzig.
The Arsenal midfielder, 19, faces an uncertain future this summer after spending the second half of last season on loan at Marseille.
SunSport has reported previously how Borussia Dortmund are keeping tabs on the situation.
And it is understood that RB Leipzig are another side paying close attention to Nwaneri’s movements.
The German side have the Arsenal wonderkid on their long list of targets for this summer’s transfer window.
The club is renowned for developing young talent and has an impressive track record of bringing players through.
The Gunners are yet to decide if they will cash in on Nwaneri, who signed a five-year contract only 12 months ago.
The midfielder has stiff competition for minutes at the Emirates, especially as Arsenal are set to sign Newcastle captain Bruno Guimaraes.
That could force Nwaneri to look for opportunities elsewhere and another loan has not been ruled out.
A permanent sale would significantly boost the Gunners’ finances, though, as the teenager is an academy product, meaning he counts as pure profit on the club’s books. – The Sun
