MUSHOWANI Stars owner, Ivan Nyakasoka, is a relieved man after the ZIFA grounds committee cleared his team to play at Trojan Mine.

They take on Herentals at their home ground tomorrow.
“I am the happiest man at the moment and I look forward to seeing the people of Mashonaland Central joining hands for the good of the team,’’ he said.

“It a great opportunity for us. We were playing our games away and returning home where we belong is a very good thing. I was in Shamva on Thursday and I could see that everyone was happy with the development.
“It was so disheartening to see the low attendances whereas when we were in Division One at our home ground we would have more than 500 supporters during our home games.’’

The businessman and farmer also believes their return home will help them secure partners within the province.

“We also expect that the corporate world can come in their numbers, especially those companies from Mashonaland Central, as we will now be near them.

‘’Although we do not have anyone who has approached us as yet, we hope the move will pay dividends.
“Everyone needs to be associated with good things so it means we also need to perform so that the supporters and partners have faith in our team.

‘’There is potential and we are in there to fight to the last.’’
Nyakasoka also congratulated their former striker Evans Katema who has joined giants Dynamos.
