THE absence of Commando Bullets’ veteran midfielder Eddie Nyika has forced team manager John Mandaza,to make changes ahead of their tie against Lake Harvest tomorrow at Commando.
Commando, who had gone for two months without a win, finally broke the jinx last week when they beat Starbill at Rufaro.
Nyika is suspended for this match.
“We have to look for a player of the same calibre to replace him. We have got to make some changes to the team because so far he has been the man-of-the-match in all our matches. “We have also taken on board three youngsters from our juniors to boost the team. I am doing the paperwork today (yesterday) and tomorrow (today).
“We need to register five players during the window period. “The motivation has been coming from our chairman Collins Kakoma, he is trying by all means to make sure that the guys get something,” Mandaza said. ZRP Morris host Bindura United at Morris Depot in what promises to be an exciting match. John Wilo, the Bindura coach, this week said it was a blessing in disguise, that they were no longer on top, as it reduced the pressure they have to face. Flame Lilly have a tricky assignment against Ngezi Platinum at Chikurubi.
Ngezi beat Mushowani 1-0 in their last game.
