A 19-year-old housemaid was yesterday sentenced to four-and-a-half years in prison after she was found guilty of aggravated indecent assault.
Bertal Maodzwa, who quenched her sexual appetite using her employer’s eight year-old son, admitted to committing the offence after the minor’s mother found nude pictures of her son and the maid in a mobile phone.
The phone belonged to Maodzwa.
She appeared before Harare Magistrate Mr Hosea Mujaya and was sentenced to seven years in prison.
However, two-and- a-half years were suspended on condition she does not commit a similar offence in five years.
It is the State’s case that on October 18, Maodzwa, who was employed as a maid, called the boy to her bedroom.
The court heard she stripped the minor and proceeded to have sexual intercourse with him.
Maodzwa then asked the boy’s older brother who is also a minor to take pictures of them while naked and fondling each other’s private parts.
The court heard that she also asked the boy’s brother to document the raunchy activities on her mobile phone.
The court was told that after the act, the girl threatened to assault the boys if they told anyone of the matter.
The boy’s mother reported the matter to the police.
