CHICKEN Innaï¿½?s veteran forward Obadiah Tarumbwa who bounced back into his clubaï¿½ï¿½s starting eleven on Wednesday and scored two beautiful goals when they thumped hapless CAPS United 3-1 at Luveve Stadium, has declared his wish to win the 2017 Golden Boot Award.

aï¿½?It is always good to score for your team. Iaï¿½ï¿½m a happy man now. It was a great team effort and I promise more goals will come. The leading top goal scorer (Bukhosi Sibanda) has since left for South Africa so it possible that I will surpass his current tally. I want to win the Golden Boot Award,aï¿½? said Tarumbwa, a former Highlanders and Bantu Rovers striker.

Tarumbwa now has four goals under his belt.

Sibanda, who recently joined South Africaaï¿½ï¿½s National First Division side Ubuntu Cape Town, is the leading Castle Lager Premier Soccer Top Goal Scorer with 10 goals to his name.

Chicken Inn head coach Rahman Gumbo revealed that Tarumbwa has regained his form after they starved him of game time following aï¿½?some disciplinary problemsaï¿½?.

aï¿½?He has been out of the starting line-up for some time. We told him that he needed to work on his disciplinary issues.

He needed to work on his life of which he has done. As a result, he gave us the much needed goals against CAPS United,aï¿½? said the veteran gaffer.
