Obert Moyo joins Platinum Stars

The former University of Pretoria centre-back has signed a three-year deal with Dikwena and will return to the South African game after leaving AmaTuks in 2010.
At the time he went for trials at Polish side Legia Warsaw, but failed to win a contract with the club.

“Moyo knows South African football from his previous stint with AmTuks, and he is a defender with great leadership abilities too,” Stars general manager Jason Raine told the club’s website.

“He was captain of the Zimbabwean Under-23 side and has led teams throughout his club career too. We believe he will be a great addition to our squad.”
The 26-year-old is the latest signing by the club, with other new entrants being Thabani Mthembu (Young Mates), Mogakolodi Ngele (Township Rollers, Botswana),
