COLLEGE dropout, Mr Blessing Dube (33) is making inroads in the design and branding industry through his business, Okuhle Designs.
He started the business in 2018 after he dropped out of Bulawayo Polytechnic in 2014.

Mr Dube started Okuhle Designs when he was doing his research on graphic design and branding between 2016 and 2018.
In an interview, Mr Dube said he always desired to venture into the technology sector.

“I always wanted to venture into a business that leans towards technology. As a self-taught designer and self-funding entrepreneur, I wanted to do better in designing, branding and printing hence another reason I started Okuhle Designs,” he added.

Mr Dube said he noted that business introduces a new and modern approach, which creates the identity of and image of other services in the technological sector.

“I think with the growth of technology our company fits well and aligns with the current trends and we will be introducing improved and better services,” said Mr Dube.

Okuhle Designs works with corporates and collaborate with artists in the entertainment industry in Bulawayo.
“As the business grows, we are planning to become a renowned design, branding, and multimedia house in the entire country and beyond through innovation, discipline, and consistency,” he said.

“I am hoping that if we get our investments right, we might by the end of next year have one of the top printing and branding hubs with all printing machines needed.

“So, the goal is to become big because our reputation is quickly growing within Bulawayo, and starting small we aim to grow bigger.”
