OLD Mutual Zimbabwe is focused on sustaining profitable growth and deepening its contribution to the national economy through an integrated strategy centered on capital deployment, digital transformation, and financial inclusion.

Group chief executive Mr Samuel Matsekete told an analyst briefing on the financial results for the year ended December 31, 2025, that the company is focused on driving top-line growth while maintaining balance-sheet resilience.

He noted that the group is leveraging its diversified financial services model to support key sectors of the economy.

“The strategy is being implemented against a backdrop of improving macroeconomic stability, which has enabled the group to expand lending, mobilise deposits and scale its investment platforms.

“A key pillar of the group’s strategy is aggressive balance sheet expansion, particularly through deposit mobilisation and targeted lending,” said Mr Matsekete.
