The Office of the President and Cabinet (OPC) today held a stakeholder validation breakfast meeting on the National Development Strategy 2 (NDS2) key performance indicators (KPIs) handbook.
The manual, which will be launched by President Mnangagwa, will facilitate Government’s ability to coordinate and monitor performance across ten thematic areas from 2026 to 2030.
In his remarks, Chief Secretary in the Office of the President and Cabinet (OPC), Dr Martin Rushwaya said the KPI handbook is one of the innovative initiatives aimed at achieving Vision 2030.
Dr Rushwaya said performance measurement is a strategic tool for continuous improvement.
Head of National Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning in the OPC, Ms Fananai Madambi, said the primary focus is on delivering measurable results.
United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) country representative, Ms Miranda Tabifor said the UN is committed to assisting Zimbabwe in achieving its national goals.
The meeting was also attended by Deputy Chief Secretaries in the OPC, Permanent Secretaries, development partners and other senior Government officials.
