RENOWNED South Africa based house producer and DJ Oskido Mdlongwa is beaming with pride over his son Junero Mdlongwa’s achievements.
Junero recently graduated with a master’s degree in international business management from Geneva Business School in Barcelona, Spain, 6 July. This milestone comes two years after he completed his undergraduate degree in Business Management at the same institution in 2022.
Oskido, the founder and director of Kalawa Jazmee Records, expressed his pride in Junero for finding his purpose and pursuing his dreams. He noted that his son’s dedication and passion have taught him the importance of perseverance and staying true to oneself.
The award-winning musician, famous for hits like I Believe, attended the graduation ceremony at the World Trade Centre in Barcelona, where he witnessed people from diverse backgrounds coming together to celebrate their achievements.
Oskido encouraged his son to continue following his dreams and remaining true to himself. To fellow fathers, Oskido emphasised the significance of investing in their children’s education and supporting their passions without judgement. He also stressed the importance of being present in their kids’ lives.
When asked about his future plans, Oskido revealed his enthusiasm for exploring the world.
“I’m looking forward to travelling the world and learning new things, especially in the field of artificial intelligence. And continuing to grow both personally and professionally,” he said.
His message to young people is to remain authentic and honest about their aspirations and expectations.
“Be honest with people about who you are, what you want, and how you expect to be treated. Setting high standards will only scare off those who aren’t meant for you, but it will attract those who respect and appreciate you for who you are,” he said. (www.snl24.com)
