EMINEM is giving sneaker-heads a chance to get their hands on a bunch of his sneakers, including one of his rarest pairs of kicks ever.
On Monday last week, the Detroit rap icon put more than 100 signed sneakers from his personal collection as well as two of the only 45 pairs made of his ultra-exclusive Air Jordan 3 “Slim Shady” Player Exclusive sneakers up for auction as part of the Marshall Mathers Foundation.
This is the first time the shoes have been made available to the general public.
The sneakers were originally created specifically for Em’s performance during the Super Bowl LVI halftime show in 2022.
Only 45 pairs were produced, and until now, they have remained strictly out of reach for fans and collectors.
The bidding is set to close on August 25.
According to a post from Em on X, 100 percent of the proceeds will benefit the Marshall Mathers Foundation and be put towards the organisation’s efforts to provide resources and opportunities to disadvantaged and at-risk youth in Detroit and surrounding communities.
Back in February, Em donated a signed pair of Nike Air Jordan 4 sneakers to Julien’s Auctions and they ended up going for US$5 120 to an undisclosed bidder. — XXL Magazine

Post Malone now engaged
Post Malone and Christy Lee are engaged after reconciling from a brief split.
On Wednesday, Lee’s friend Marina Hollyer broke the news with video from their engagement on her Instagram Story.
According to TMZ, the big moment happened the night before in Utah.
“My best friend in the world just got engaged,” she wrote in the caption with heart emojis.
She added more photos and videos in the following slides, showing Lee in a “Bride to Be” sash and showing off her rock.
Dating rumours started when the pair were first spotted together in March 2025, and they were all but confirmed when they were later seen having dinner in Paris and then going shopping and sealing it with a kiss. The pair reportedly split just months later, but clearly they have since reconciled.
Post’s relationship with Lee came after his reported split from former fiancée Hee Sung “Jamie” Park.
The pair got engaged in 2021, with the “Congratulations” singer confirming the news during an appearance on the Call Her Daddy podcast.
They welcomed their first child together in 2022, but eventually split towards the end of 2024.
On the music side of things, Post Malone’s Big Ass Stadium tour, which he has been on since 2025, will head to Asia next month before wrapping up Down Under in Australia and New Zealand in October. — XXL Magazine

Sandra Bullock speaks about ex’s traumatic death
Sandra Bullock has opened up about the late Bryan Randall’s diagnosis prior to his death, explaining why she was initially unable to speak publicly about the traumatic news.
The “Practical Magic” actress met the model-turned-photographer in 2015 after hiring him to shoot her son’s fifth birthday party.
In 2020, Randall was diagnosed with amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS), a progressive nervous system disease that gradually severs the brain’s connection to the muscles, robbing individuals of their ability to walk, talk, eat and eventually breathe.
Following a three-year battle with the illness, Randall passed away in 2023 at the age of 57.
Speaking on the SmartLess podcast with hosts Jason Bateman, Will Arnett and Sean Hayes, Bullock recalled that Randall specifically asked her not to share his diagnosis publicly.
She honoured his wishes, noting that while she understood his request, carrying the secret was a huge emotional burden that left her feeling isolated during the Covid-19 pandemic.
Bullock revealed that she began grieving Randall long before his death, as he was ill for half of their relationship.
She described how her partner left long before his body did, explaining that she felt trapped on an emotional treadmill while quietly managing his care.
Although she felt capable of handling the logistical demands of serious illness — having previously navigated her mother’s battle with cancer and her father’s accidents — doing so while protecting her children, who viewed Randall as a father figure, created an overwhelming and dark period.
Together, the couple co-parented Bullock’s children, Louis and Laila, alongside Randall’s daughter, Skylar Staten Randall.
Over time, Bullock found solace by confiding in close friends Jennifer Aniston and Amanda Anka, wife of Jason Bateman.
ALS has garnered heightened public attention in recent years due to several high-profile diagnoses.
Actor Eric Dane passed away after a public battle with the condition, having spent his final months advocating for awareness and playing a firefighter with ALS on NBC’s “Brilliant Minds”.
Similarly, veteran actor Russell Andrews, known for roles in “Better Call Saul” and Grey’s Anatomy”, shared his diagnosis through the ALS Network, highlighting the profound community support that sustains those living with the disease. — Wires
