Kuvaldin grew up as a normal child for his first seven years.
He went to kindergarten, and learned how to read and write.
His life completely changed after the death of his father.
When his mother came back from the her husband’s funeral and saw neighbouring boys laughing at her son, she decided that she would never again allow him to be abused.
From then she kept him locked up in his room for 33 years.
Kuvaldin has struggled to cope with adulthood since he has been free.
