P Diddy is set to be a free man a month earlier than previously declared, after it was revealed that the Bad Boy Records founder is enjoying quite a lavish lifestyle behind bars
P Diddy’s release date has been bumped up again. According to the Federal Bureau of Prisons’ records, Sean “Diddy” Combs is now slated for release from FCI Fort Dix on January 21, 2028.
His release date has been altered multiple times, including being bumped from February to January and then back to February again. Now, it’s been moved back to January 21, 2028. His previous release date was February 20, 2028.
The Bad Boy Records founder is currently serving a 50-month sentence after being convicted of two violations of the Mann Act for transportation to engage in prostitution. Before being handed his sentence in October, Combs was acquitted of more serious charges like racketeering and sex trafficking, for which he could have faced life in prison. This comes after Combs reportedly got into a brawl behind bars, and his release date was moved up again.
The new release date comes after reports that the Making the Band star is enjoying a lavish lifestyle despite being behind bars. According to a bombshell new NBC report on September 29, Combs could be living a pampered life in his cell.
Combs allegedly has other inmates make meals for him, clean the bathroom, and do his laundry.
The Bad Boy Records Label founder is also reported to have a man who gives him Chinese-style massages.
Four men who reportedly spent time in the same unit as Combs have opened up about the East Coast rapper’s living conditions, with one of the men telling NBC, “This is not some normal s— you see in jail. This is some rich s—.” The anonymous inmate added, “It looks crazy, but again, it’s Diddy.”
NBC’s obtained footage also appears to show Combs seemingly using a contraband phone in his cell.
Multiple sources have also alleged that Combs used contraband cellphones to search through Instagram and look at nude and sexually explicit photos that an old girlfriend sent him.
Additionally, the disgraced music mogul allegedly has a stash of premium liquor he often indulges in with a tight-knit group of fellow inmates on weekend nights, with one of NBC’s sources claiming that guards reportedly smuggled the alcohol in for the famous prisoner.
In July 2026, reports also circulated that Combs had an altercation with a fellow inmate at the minimum security prison FCI Fort Dix in New Jersey.
The two men reportedly began pushing each other before escalating to physical blows, with insiders claiming that Combs “held his own” during the fight. After the inmates were separated, Combs was allegedly placed into solitary confinement. -aol.
