A TEACHER at Lochview primary school in Bulawayo has been arrested for allegedly fondling the breasts of eight grade 7 pupils and squeezing their buttocks. Never Ncube, 54, has been suspended until investigations are finalised.
He appeared before magistrate Tinashe Tashaya on Friday and denied indecently assaulting the pupils. Tashaya remanded Ncube to November 20 on $100 bail.
He ordered Ncube to report every Friday at the Bulawayo Central Police Station until commencement of trial.
The magistrate said the trial date was set taking into consideration the fact that the victims are grade seven pupils who will be sitting for examinations soon and need to be at school without interruptions.
“I deny all the counts as presently framed against me,” said Ncube.
