adminIf you don’t know it already actress Pam Andrews is leaving soapie Rhythm City. After 7 years on the soapie Pam is leaving it to focus on her music career. Pam is not a professionally-trained actress but she impressed both critics and fans with her bold and energetic portrayal of Gail October.
She came in the spotlight in 2002 as a member of a band 101 when they won the first season of the reality television competition Popstars.
Andrews left the band one year after to pursue her acting career.
Apart from Rhythm City, she has also starred in Backstage and the drama series Tshisa.Pam made the announcement last week on her Instagram
“Sadly… I will b leaving #RhythmCity,” she wrote.
“I would like 2thank #quizzicalpictures. #etv & Rhythm City 4 giving me the amazing opportunity 2hav been part of such an amazing cast & production. It’s been 7 mind blowing years… youve helped me grow as a person & actress. Thank u 4this… but now its time 4me 2focuss on other projects… explore new things & opportunities. .im very very very nervous. . F**king Shaking…But also verry excited.
