Renovation works at the Parirenyatwa Group of Hospitals’ Adlam House and nurses’ residence have reached 70% completion, bringing much-needed improvements to staff accommodation at one of Zimbabwe’s largest referral hospitals.

The ongoing upgrades include the successful installation of a 120kW solar system and the drilling of eight boreholes, which are expected to ease water and power challenges at the facility.

At Mbuya Nehanda Maternity Hospital, demolition works are nearing completion at 90%, while renovation efforts have now progressed to 15%.

These developments form part of ongoing Government efforts to modernise the country’s health infrastructure.
