Parliament, stakeholders meet over Health Services Amendment Bill

The Parliament Portfolio Committee on Health and Child Care is this morning meeting with various stakeholders in the Health Sector to discuss the Health Services Amendment Bill.

The Bill seeks to amend the Act and seeks to transform Health Services Board into a Commission and will be responsible for the employment of professionals in the sector.

It also reviews the right to strike by personnel in the sector.
