Parliament to convene 2026 annual corporate planning workshop

PARLIAMENT of Zimbabwe will convene its 2026 annual corporate planning workshop beginning on Saturday until next Tuesday, with discussions focusing on the country’s economic blueprints, National Development Strategy 1 and its successor, NDS2.

In a statement, Parliament said the discussions will be on the successes of NDS1, challenges faced in its implementation and lessons learnt.

“The Parliament of Zimbabwe will convene its 2026 Annual Corporate Planning Workshop from January 31 to February 4, 2026 at the Kadoma Rainbow Hotel, Kadoma,” read the statement.

“This workshop is vital for strategic alignment, institutional strengthening, stakeholder engagement, and accountability.

“It positions the Parliament of Zimbabwe to deliver on its constitutional mandate more effectively, while adapting to emerging challenges and opportunities.

Speaker of Parliament, Advocate Jacob Mudenda, will give the keynote address, while Mashonaland West Provincial Affairs and Devolution Minister Marian Chombo will also address the meeting.

The meeting will also review Parliament’s performance between 2021 and 2025.
