Parly clerk, procurement director criminal abuse case deferred

The matter of Clerk of Parliament Kennedy Mugove Chokuda and Procurement Director Stanley Bhebhe on allegations of criminal abuse of office charges was yesterday deferred to August 1 pending finalisation of investigations.

The pair allegedly handpicked a supplier thereby violating tender procedure.

The are currently on $100 000 bail each.
