Ruwangwe in Nyanga comes alive this Friday from 4pm as sungura aces, Simon Mutambi and Paradzai Mesi, take to the stage at Kadzere Township. Fast-rising sungura star, Mutambi is set to deliver a high-energy performance, belting out fan favourites such as “Chembere Yako”, “Wafawanaka”, “Shumba Chikara”, “Mukudanana” and “Hupenyu Inhava”.
Known for his vibrant stage presence and captivating guitar rhythms, Mutambi continues to cement his place among the country’s most promising sungura talents.
Sharing the spotlight is veteran sungura outfit, Njerama Boys, led by the seasoned Paradzai Mesi. Fans can expect timeless hits including “Midzimu Yangu”, “Takuziva”, “Pahukama Hazvidaro”, “Achimwene”, “Kambairai” and “Muudzei Chete”.
Chitsa Bar and Liquids
The weekend vibe kicks off in style with “Lite Saturday,” where DJs Stixxie and Popinjo take control of the decks, delivering a seamless blend of chart-topping hits and old-school anthems across two electrifying nights.
On Sunday, the spotlight turns to old-school specialist, DJ Tawaz, who begins his nostalgic musical journey at 3pm until late. Patrons can expect a carefully curated selection of timeless classics fused with fresh tracks from his legendary catalogue — a perfect session for lovers of throwback grooves.
Pub 106
Located at Tanganda Business Centre in Chipinge District, Pub 106 will be reverberating with sound as selected DJs, led by DJ Bantum, perform live on the turntables.
