Renowned gospel artiste Pastor Barak is set to unveil his much-awaited single along with a live DVD recording in a grand event slated for later this month at the Ship of Zion Auditorium (Number 5 Express, Belmont near NAT Pharmaceuticals).

The single, titled “Hlala La” and the live DVD recording of the “Bayethe Experience” will take centre stage on June 29, where the esteemed clergyman will be joined by Absalom “Absa” Ndlovu, Siza Mdlongwa, Simba Mpofu, and surprise guest performances.

“Hlala La” has been eagerly anticipated since its tease during one of Pastor Barak’s performances, prompting fervent requests from fans for an official release. Although many speculated it would feature on the hit album “Bayethe”, it remained withheld until now.

Pastor Barak expressed his readiness to unveil the track, highlighting the inclusion of fresh talent in the line-up as a means of providing them with a platform for growth.

“While I’d have loved to invite gospel icons as usual, the spirit of God prompted me to give these long-hidden talents a chance. They’ve shown remarkable potential and represent the new generation of gospel musicians. I understand they’ve received numerous invitations, and now it’s my turn,” Pastor Barak shared.

“As an apostle, my mission is to foster growth among people. At the launch, we’ll have USBs and CDs available for sale to those who wish to support the ministry. I call upon the people of Bulawayo and beyond, both young and old, to come and support our local talent,” he urged.

Reflecting on the message behind “Hlala La”, Pastor Barak explained, “This song encourages individuals to maintain a spiritual steadfastness, regardless of life’s challenges. It emphasises the importance of remaining rooted in faith, even when faced with adversity. People may falter and disappoint, but placing trust in God is paramount.” – @mthabisi_mthire
