A HARARE pastor has been granted a protection order against his wife whom he is accusing of threatening to burn the church.

The order was granted by magistrate Meenal Narotom at the Harare Civil Court.

Oliver Dzakavapano, the pastor, had approached the court seeking protection against his wife, Alice Asab.

Dzakavapano claimed his wife was a monster.

“I am a pastor and my wife threatens to burn the church whenever we have a misunderstanding.

“She is full of drama and l cannot handle her sometimes because of violence.

“I want her to stop assaulting me and stop coming to my church because I can’t pray peacefully when she is there.

“She insults me and even claims our child does not belong to me.

“She dumps the children and leaves them under my care.”

Alice disputed the claims.

“I do not cause violence because l do not stay with him. He dumped me and he is now staying with another woman, he is a liar,” she said.
