The Spanish tactician was at the helm of the club for a number of the years examined in the investigation—although there is no evidence that he knew anything about the club’s misconduct.
He has kept a low profile in the days since the guilty verdict was revealed, only breaking cover to release a statement to City fans.
But now he has been spotted as he attended a Victoria Beckham fashion show in Paris.
The legendary coach was spotted at the glitzy event alongside his glamorous daughter, Maria.
He wasn’t the only football royalty in the building, with David Beckham in attendance to support his wife alongside his son Romeo.
But the Manchester United legend probably is not feeling too much sympathy for City’s situation.
The club were found guilty on more than 100 charges of financial rule breaches by an independent commission.
The club maintains its innocence and has launched an appeal against the decision.
But if the verdict is upheld, the club could face a number of consequences including the prospect of a huge points deduction that could all but relegate the team from the top division.
Guardiola’s only comments on the controversy have come in the form of a statement in which he said he was behind the club.
He wrote on social media: “I want every single Manchester City fan across the world to know I am here — more than ever.
“I am, always have been, always will, be behind my club, my owner, my chairman, Ferran, the players, staff, Enzo and you, our unique supporters.
“Let me be clear: we will get through this together. I love you all.” — Sun
