Pep to sell Aguero

MANCHESTER. — Pep Guardiola will sensationally let Sergio Aguero leave the club following secret showdown talks at a Manchester restaurant. The £27million arrival of Gabriel Jesus has left City’s top marksman questioning his future at the Etihad as Guardiola plots a major squad overhaul. Sitting opposite Aguero and the striker’s representative, Guardiola tried to keep a low profile as secret discussions over the Argentine’s future rumbled on.

And it appears that the meeting was left on a sour note as a ruthless Guardiola left the duo ready to cut ties and cash in on the prolific striker.

Aguero has been left frustrated this season, sparked by being left on the bench when City faced Barcelona in the Champions League.

His anger was plain to see when he was shown a straight red card for a viscous lunge on David Luiz in the 3-1 defeat to Chelsea last month. — The Sun.
