Utakataka Express’ leadership has expressed openness to welcoming Peter Moyo’s two siblings, Tanaka and Tongai Junior Moyo, into the group.
The siblings recently made a memorable appearance at Peter’s album launch in Harare, joining him on stage and sharing a photoshoot afterwards. The moment resonated with fans of the late Tongai Moyo, highlighting a public display of family unity.
In an interview with Zimpapers Arts and Entertainment Hub, Peter’s manager, Kudakwashe Zhuwawo, dispelled rumours of discord, saying the trio is getting along well.
“Peter Moyo has matured, which is evident not only in his career but also in his role within the family. His younger brothers, Tanaka and Tongai Junior, have been supportive and respect Peter as their elder brother.
“They attend his shows regularly, and we ensure they get exposure. They are welcome to join him whenever they wish. They are now mature, and we trust they will make wise decisions,” Zhuwawo said.
Peter continues to receive rave reviews for his seventh album, Muchinda Muhombe, further cementing his status in the music scene.
