DEFENDER Ronald Pfumbidzai says he has settled well at SuperSport in the South African Premier Soccer League.
The former Caps United star joined SuperSport this season from fellow Premiership side, Royal AM in a career upgrade.
At SuperSport United, Pfumbidzai is joined by fellow Zimbabweans George Chigova, Terrence Dzvukamanja, Onismo Bhasera and Washington Arubi.
“The experience here has been fantastic and I have really adapted well
“This is recognised to be one of the big teams here.
“And I think I am now getting the experience that I need to improve myself as a player and to get better in my skills,” he said.
Pfumbidzai has so far featured in six league games and one MTN cup game which they lost in the quarter-final in extra time against Stellenbosch.
“I’m happy that I have managed to get some game time since my arrival here.
“I am looking forward to playing more games at the top level and help the club and myself,” he said.
He added:
“I keep thanking God for the opportunity that got presented to me.
“I think it’s every player’s dream to play for a team where he is happy and I feel at home here.
“It’s a good feeling personally as l am trying my best to do my all and help in any way I can.
“I take each and every game seriously no mater it’s our league games or cup game.
“I have the same respect for my opponents although even when it’s different teams and competitions.”
Meanwhile, Pfumbidzai was part of the SuperSport United team that lost 0-3 at home to Golden Arrows in a Premiership match yesterday.
It was SuperSport’s first defeat in five league matches and Pfumbidzai was given a rating of 6.3 out of 10.
