adminA timely boost was received ahead of tomorrow’s competition when Nhlanhla Ncube of Falsetto Fam presented T-shirts and a shield worth $600 yesterday. He said this was his own contribution to schools and wished them a good two-days of sporting activity.
The donated T-shirts will be used by event officials and a shield has been set aside for winners of the physical education competition.
This year sees the return of the once popular discipline and Naph official sponsors, Nestle, are credited with pushing for the revival of this sport at a competitive level.
Competition has been from the inter-house, cluster up to zonal level.
Naph chairman Enock Ncube hailed this development and said it was another great platform on which young children could showcase their talents.
“We have always had PE at schools but never at a competitive level and as such we are happy that we can now have children competing in this discipline as this will offer another channel through which young talent can be tapped and nurtured,” he said.
