THE City of Harare is carrying out pipe replacement in most parts of Ward 17.

Ward 17 Mt Pleasant Councillor Happymore Gotora posted in a residents’ WhatsApp group that the purpose of the pipe replacement is to enhance water supply in the ward and reduce non-revenue water.

“Most of our suburbs were constantly having interruptions in water supplies due to persistent burst pipes, hence the project. Suburbs currently being affected include Sentosa and parts of Greencroft,” he posted.

Clr Gotora said the exercise was expected to be complete next week and water supply would be restored.
