ITaS a Zimbabwean thing!

When Warriors striker Tendai Ndoro left South African top-flight football giants Orlando Pirates to join oil-rich Saudi Arabian Pro League side, Al Faisaly there was relatively wide speculation in the media on who should replace him.

After his departure, Zimbabwean striker Cuthbert Malajila was linked with a move from Mamelodi Sundowns to Orlando Pirates but the deal did not materialise.

As such, Orlando Pirates will complete the season using their only solid striker Thamsanqa Gabuza.

But for the coming season, the Buccaneers as they are affectionately known will in their books have Zimbabweas Kudakwashe Mahachi.

a?Itas true that Iam leaving (Arrows) for Pirates at the end of the season,a? said Mahachi.

Mahachi (24) has in the past done duty at Mamelodi Sundowns before his stint at Golden Arrows.

Tendai Ndoro returned to South Africa from Saudi Arabian side Al-Faisaly for an undisclosed fee.

The striker has reunited at Ajax Cape Town with Muhsin Ertugral, for whom he played at Orlando Pirates, before Ertugral resigned after just a few months as Buccaneers coach in November of last year.

Ndoro joined Al-Faisaly from Pirates on August 24, but returned to South African top flight football beginning of the year.
