Plumtree Town Council to enforce dog laws

THE PLUMTREE Town Council will be enforcing dog licensing laws with effect from 20 March 2024.

In a statement, Plumtree Acting Town Secretary Thembalami

Nyoni said the enforcement exercise will entail checking for dog licenses/permits, breeding certificates/licenses, the number of dogs within a property, and the destruction of stray and unsecured dogs.

“To avoid inconveniences owners should obtain licenses, and secure their animals within their property boundaries,” reads the statement.
