LONDON. — Manchester United’s summer transfer plans could suffer a major blow after Paul Pogba’s agent suggested that his client could sign a new deal at Juventus.
Juventus have offered Pogba a new contract in a bid to stave off interest from Manchester United, according to agent Mino Raiola.
The central midfielder, subject of serious interest from United, is jetting off on holiday after France lost the European Championship final against Portugal on Sunday night.
It is believed the package presented by Juventus will include a wage increase to around £130 000 a week.
Raiola claimed he did not speak to Pogba about any potential switch away from Turin during Euro 2016 — but the pair are now expected to discuss their options. — The Mirror.
