Police, family hunt for missing student

POLICE in Mashonaland Central Province are appealing for information on an 18-year-old Form Four student from Kundayi Secondary School in Concession, Michael Jongwe who has been missing since June 24, 2025.

Jongwe was last seen at his home, House Number 1338 in Sherwood, Concession.

He was wearing a blue bomber jacket and grey trousers.

Provincial police spokesperson Inspector Milton Mundembe said Michael left home in the afternoon and never returned.

According to his family, it is unlike him to go anywhere without informing someone.

The Zimbabwe Republic Police (ZRP) Concession is handling the matter, and investigations are ongoing.

“We urge anyone with information on Michael’s whereabouts to contact ZRP Concession or his family. The public’s help is critical in such situations,” said Insp Mundembe.

Anyone with information can reach ZRP Concession on 0778 204 774, Michael’s family on 0773 066 667, or report to the nearest police station.
