Political activist’s homestead burnt down in suspected targeted attack

A HOMESTEAD belonging to Bekithemba Ndlovu, a prominent member of the Mthwakazi Republic Party under the Kraal head Mabhedla in Mavikaneni Village, Pupu Ward under Chief Mabhikwa in Lupane District was recently engulfed in flames in what is suspected to be a targeted political attack.

The incident took place in the early hours of the morning while Ndlovu was asleep, leading to the destruction of his home. Fortunately, Ndlovu managed to escape the attack, but not without encountering further danger as he fled from the scene.

Ndlovu, known for his active involvement in the Mthwakazi Republic Party and his role in leading recruitment efforts and organising campaign rallies, has reportedly been a target due to his political activism. His dedication to the party and his outspoken nature in advocating for its cause has seemingly made him a target for those opposed to his political affiliation.
